Americans have endured an endless assault on their inherent and constitutional liberties. Those that have been chosen by the People to defend those freedoms—our legislators—have failed us. An ordinary and concerned citizen, I am stepping up to do my part to restore decency to elected office and to return power and authority to those to whom it belongs-the People.

I am a native of Kentucky who currently resides in Graves County and I am prepared to represent the people of the Second District. I am a 2000 and 2011 graduate of Murray State University and a 2014 graduate of Lindenwood University in Missouri. I completed a B.A. in Psychology, a Master’s of Education in School Guidance and Counseling, and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I have been Rank I certified by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board in School Guidance and Counseling.

My husband, Jerry “Peanut” Holloway, and I have been married since 2014. We are a blended family that includes six adult children and their significant others, three younger children, and five grandchildren. Our sixth and seventh grandchildren will be joining our family this fall. The Holloways are a farming family who respect the value of commitment, hard work, and sacrifice. My motivation to seek office has been fueled by my determination to ensure that my children and grandchildren are able to retain the rights associated with being inherently free. I believe that is only achievable by providing equal representation for all Kentuckians and by striving to reduce the role of government in our lives.

I have spent most of my adult life raising my children. My first position following graduate school was as a Social Services Director of a Western Kentucky retirement community. I spent four years working as a counselor with the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice. I have enjoyed raising our three small children since 2015. Prior to my decision to run for office in September 2021, I was politically disconnected. I strongly believe that Kentuckians would benefit from honest and transparent representation by humble members of the community.

Being chosen to represent the People is an honor that must be executed in a dignified manner, and I humbly ask for your support as I undertake the mission to restore integrity in Frankfort. I seek to maintain transparency in office and communication with those who have entrusted me with this task. I promise to remain accountable to the People, to remain faithful to the mission, and to uphold the Constitutional rights of all Kentuckians.
